DJ UBS CEO Says He Won't Get A Bonus For 2009 - Report
ZURICH (Dow Jones)--UBS AG (UBS) Chief Executive Oswald Gruebel will not get a bonus for 2009, he told weekly Sonntag in an interview, published Sunday.
"I will, of course, not be getting paid a bonus," Gruebel said. "The firm doesn't make a profit."
He added that this was a matter of leading by example. Gruebel declined to confirm speculation that UBS will be paying out a total of 4 billion Swiss francs ($3.77 billion) in bonuses to its bankers in 2009.
